MedERP™ - Portable Sales Sub-System

The Portable Sales Sub-System provides the field representative with every necessary tool required to organize, manage, solicit and close sales in the field. This system is self-contained in that it has the ability to receive and manage its own inventory, solicit orders and generate sales orders for items sold. At the same time it interacts with all other modules of the MedERP System to co-ordinate inventory receipts, inventory movement in related locations, review available inventory in remote locations, and report sales activity, instantly, through electronic means.

The information flow between the Portable Sales Sub-System and the remotely installed web-enabled modules of the MedERP System is so automated and instantaneous, that field representatives sharing the same inventory are kept notified of inventory movements, while in the field, as a result of sales activities of other representatives.

The Portable Sales Sub-System has the following features:
  • Ability to set up new accounts
  • Ability to set up and review surgical appointments
  • Send stocking inventory requests electronically
  • Consign inventory to customers
  • Provide on-the-spot quotations through e-mail, fax or hard copy print
  • Receive alerts for items in inventory that are nearing expiry date
  • Perform inventory audits upon demand
  • Maintain expense reports for electronic submission to accounting
  • Receive automatic updates from other MedERP modules that pertain to customer account changes, item catalog changes and inventory changes
  • Report sales orders electronically for billing
  • Obtain, and send electronically, patient and customer signatures required for insurance billing
  • Extensive search capabilities to look-up inventory and item catalogs
