Legacy Security Analyzer automates the analysis and audit of security layers that are implemented to control access to Adabas/Natural applications. This product, with its ability to customize reports, satisfies the statutory requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) in the U.S. and BASEL II in Europe.

The analyzer's extraction engine separates the programs and data files whose access is controlled by security variables, and abstracts this code into a standard XML format. It then provides the user with a web-based platform to analyze and audit the extracted information, allowing the generation of a multitude of reports ranging from details of programs and data accessibility to identification of user accessibility.

Security analysis is not just about determining what programs and data files can be accessed; it is also about determining the functionality that can be performed by each user and the files that cannot be accessed when certain other files are made accessible.
