MedERP™ - Purchasing & Warehouse Management

The Purchasing & Warehouse Management Module (PWMM) automates the procurement process and every aspect of inventory movement once it has been received in the warehouse. This module supports procurement alerts, receipt of inventory, bar-coding and stocking, inter and intra transfer of inventory, consignment monitoring and dispatches.

PWMM manages both local and remote warehouses through a centralized database. This allows better management of inventory, thereby increasing profitability. In an industry where timely distribution of medical devices and drugs is of critical importance, optimal management of inventory is the key to a medical distribution company’s success; and PWMM has been designed to ensure a very high level of automation and optimization in inventory management.

With a highly dynamic reporting module, PWMM provides in-depth reporting across the supply and shipment management chain for the benefit of suppliers, recipients and executive management of the user company. Such reports allow an in-depth visibility into operational aspects of the business, while creating an audit trail to satisfy regulatory and business-to-business reporting requirements.

Using MedERP's central user management framework, the Purchasing & Warehouse Management Module provides secure access to authorized users through both the intranet and internet. The module provides unlimited scalability with a low maintenance cost.

The Purchasing & Warehouse Management Module has the following features:
  • A customized log-in screen for each user type with short-cuts to most relevant functionality
  • Procurement alerts based on minimum, maximum, and re-order levels of each inventory item. Minimum and Maximum inventory levels may be dynamically adjusted based on historical and seasonal sales trends
